As you can tell, I’m getting a kick out of the Wacom tablet. Soon I expect to be back to doing some guest draws, etc. This method certainly frees up my time. I timed my cartooning a while back and discovered how much is spent on scanning and processing. With those steps out of the way, I can enjoy the drawing. And, I don’t have to get my fingers all inky!
The only draw back (pun intended) is I don’t have an original hard copy. But, is that so bad? It’s about time I stopped being a hoarder. Until someone beats my door down for an original, I won’t worry about it. I’ll save it for future canvases… or canvi as it seems logical to call it.
Some of this extra time I want to put into this website. There is a lot I want to do to it. I am peeling the onion of Comic Easel. It has a ton of features that will really trick out this webcomic. I just need to learn ’em! The hacking inspired a renewed vigor for vigilance and attention. It’s time for a little restructure and rejuvenation. So look out for new and exciting things, small ones at first.

with no hard copy…just be super diligent about BACKUPS!
computer crashes happen exactly when you hope they won’t.
hmmm..maybe it’s paranormal..they seem to know the worst times to do that…
I am about to purchase a badass backup system, so I can do all of this safely. You are so right! I do miss the hard copy for that aspect!
