Cartooning came into my life at the end of my freshman year of high school. That summer I invented Wabbit Hutch, a comic strip that would evolve over many years, nearly make syndication before being retired under another name in the late 1990s. Long before Entities-R-Us was even thought of, the characters of Wabbit Hutch roamed the earth, the dinosaurs of my Jurassic period.

Introducing Pudgy, Wizzle, Radar, Droopy, Fuzz and Snoutly. These later evolved or became extinct over time. You’ll recognize genetic remnants of Radar in Arno’s hair, Punk’s personality in Merv, among other things… In honor of Entities-R-Us’ origins, I will run a series of Wabbit Hutch comics from a batch that went to the syndicates in 1989. As you know, syndicates take only 1 in a billion cartoons. This one went to committee and nearly made it to the newspapers. It still has some flair even now. So, starting Saturday, September 17th, enjoy two weeks of this (for the hell of it). Entities will return from this “vacation” with some new awesome ‘toons! Oh, and celebrate on September 18th the 3rd anniversary of Entities-R-Us’ web launch back in 2008!

Enjoy!

Below are a couple articles, one from the Keene High School Informer (my school newspaper), the other from the Keene Evening Sentinel. For some reason, I still seem to attract the media. It must my may “animal magnetism” or at least the  way I draw ’em.
