…and the Neighborhood Journal’s Jim Freni and his assistant. Sunday night we hit the ghosts again at the Patchett House. This time Indy Para (Donna Parish-Bischoff, Andy Seidel, Nathan Drake Schoonover, and me) was joined by another local team, Pou Para (Jimmy Stixx, Charlie Diottaviano, and Ed Bates) out of Poughkeespie. A local cable show called Neighborhood Journal followed us on this trip. We got an early enough start so that all the b.s. that usually ensues was over before darkness fell. This included negotiating with a study group which claimed to have booked the building for the evening. Several phone calls later to confirm the management screwed up big-time, we came to a resolution. They studied in the sun porch which was located off the side of the building and not over the basement, thus preventing any vocal contamination for us.
We had on board psychic Sebastian Black until 7pm. He detected spirit activity. He was convinced they did not want they study group in the building. He said the spirits would be very active after they leave. This was pretty accurate. Although, as soon as the group was banished to the porch, I felt activity in the room just off the staircase. We gathered around. Several of the team were able to feel the energy. EMF and K2 meters were active. There was some response t0 questions. I pulled out my index card notes and began asking questions about names I discovered in prior EVP analysis.
Suddenly, one of the Walkie-Talkies went off with voice saying, “Whaa, whaa, whaa.” It sounded like Charlie Brown’s school teacher. Ironically, the other Walkie nearby did not go off and the team in the basement confirmed theirs was silent as well. After this I asked about an strong EVP I picked up last time that said, “I don’t want to leave here (or her).” Suddenly, I could feel strong energy around the my had that was holding my recorder. All of us heard an audible voice next to my recorder! It was truly amazing. I really want to check that evidence out…
The rest of the night we could hear voices, taps. The meters would go off. I used the Ovilus on my iPhone and Andy used his Ghost Radar. We had some very interesting hits. Some of us were touched. We have a bunch of evidence to sort out. This was truly an exciting investigation.
Thanks to my team Indy Para, especially Donna for her hard work organizing this, and to Pou Para and Neighborhood Journal. Everyone was professional, relaxed and SOMEBODY BROUGHT COOKIES! WOOHOO!
So, we did eat cookies and hunt ghosts!
