Yes, it finally happened… The new character for Entities-R-Us, Ghost Hunter Comic has been created in the visual sense. She is no longer just a thought wafting through the ethereal matter of the universe.
Those of you who participated in the naming via Twitter and Facebook, I would like to thank you for your imput. Lori Pinney Woiccak was the first to mention Boom-Boom. So, the credit for naming Boomy goes to her! Thanks Laura!
A little word about Boomy (which I will affectionately call her – Vera will call her Poptart…), she is NOT A DUMB BLOND by a long-shot. I deliberately created her character as an intelligent, knowledgeable person with a real sense of who she is inside. Much to her chagrin, her looks get in the way of any respect that ought to be hers. It goes to show, you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
My purpose in creating Boom-Boom was to fill the need for “eye candy” on the investigation team of Entities so that they would be a viable gig for a TV show. Arno, desperate to have his own paranormal television series, caves in to producers and hires a “hottie” to make his bunch of goofballs seem more interesting to the adult male paranormal fan demographic. And so, we have Boomy!
