NEPA Paranormal is today’s Guest Draw. They are known for their experience on Animal Planet’s The Haunted. Bob Christopher, the group leader contacted me a while back with an interesting experience he felt might make a great idea for a Guest Draw.
NEPA Paranormal
While investigating a gangster bar, he was shocked by the Ovilius, a device that is used to talk with spirits using pre-programed words. It is virtually impossible to receive an electrical discharge from this thing, unless you dropped it in the bathtub. Another experience they had on this investigation was the Ovilus using words that were not originally programmed into it, like “whacked” (killed mafia style).

NEPA Paranormal was founded 4 years ago. While we have only been operating for four years, most of our members have been researching the field for many more years. Our team is made up of 15 investigators who have all come together with our own unique experiences. Since it’s founding NEPA Paranormal has done over 200 cases. We have been featured on local radio, and local tv. We have also been featured on Animal Planet’s The Haunted. Co-Founder Bob Christopher has appeared on Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures. His daughter Katie has also been published in the magazine Paranormal Underground. NEPA Paranormal is also a registered non-profit organization. Our main goal as investigators is to help others understand the paranormal as well as document evidence in an effort to increase the credibility of what we do, and to assist in further advancing the field of paranormal research.

Notice I twisted the Ovilus story, “Ovilusly” for my own purposes. One of the interesting things about cartooning, is the ideas never form as you think they should. So, when someone prompts me with a suggestion, it never resolves itself exactly as THEIR intention was, but as the universe suggests it to me. I cartoon for a higher power apparently. As I always say, it isn’t me that writes the comics… I’m just the technician or the channel.
