Of course today’s comic deserves mention… I can imagine a ghost wanting to kick back with a fine “Sammy A” (Samuel Adams for you non-beer-snobs). I suppose once I get out there in spirit-land, I’ll either manifest a fine Cabernet or some Dixie’s Blackened VooDoo.

Wandering off track… I read this morning that Mary Travers of the folk group Peter Paul & Mary passed away. Thus ends one of the finer points of my childhood. I grew up with their music and listen to it still. To me there is no finer rendition of Dylan’s “Blowing in the Wind”  than theirs. If you ever catch one of the PBS specials where this group performs, it’s fodder for the soul. She will be missed.

Also, we lost another icon of my youth, Henry Gibson who starred in the program I was not allowed to watch because, in the words of Monty Python (which was far worse I might add) contained far too many “naughty bits”… Rowan & Martin’s Laugh In. Yes, I did sneak a watch now and then… and yes, I did watch every sorry bit of Monty Python’s Flying Circus when the ‘rents were out and I was babysittin’ my little co-conspirator brother, Peter… who is still far funnier than I am. 🙂

And, of course these things come in threes… Patrick Swayze gave up the ghost as well. Another icon to be missed… Although I pray I don’t get sucked into yet another viewing of Dirty Dancing!  Ghost is far more appropriate for this blog. So, I’d rather catch that one. On a spooky note, Patrick Swayze looked a lot like my brother-in-law who passed, the one I was treated to his apparition. If you don’t know that story, check out the Ghost Stories page on this site.

On a random, random thought… I had an excellent lesson with my horse. He is slotting into the routine of Dressage and is looking like the superstar I know he is.  And that has absolutely nothing to do with the paranormal! HA!

And, finally, I will be getting back to trolling for EVPs with my Shanley Hotel evidence. A bunch of clients resurrected themselves with deadlines, so I have to attend to them first.
