Early in the a.m. while I was setting up the parrot paper for my two goofballs, I saw a ghost.

The April 30th edition of Almanac was being unceremoniously relegated to the Albus’ “chamber pot” in honor of the dignity of my carpet, when I noticed and advertisement (with a picture of a ghost) for the Shanley Hotel in Napanoch, NY. “The Spirits Are Inn” it said. Curiosity piqued, I ripped it out of the newsprint and hauled it up to my office computer for some “googling”.

Shanley Hotel is an old inn that seems to sport some spirits. The owners have wisely capitalized on the haunting by marketing it to someone who WANTS a paranormal experience - a much better decision than baiting out the unsuspecting guest. They also have scheduled ghost hunts to participate in as well as paranormal events and discussions.

And, so… with all you ghost huntery types out there reading this stuff, I figured I’d give a shout-out to the folks at Shanley. Check ’em out at http://www.shanleyhotel.com.

If you go, just tell ’em Entities-R-Us sent ya.
