The Shanley Hotel was known for its Men’s Club back in the day… Members would come for bowling, cards or the bordello above. There are a few spirits who hang out in this area.
The Kentucky Paranormal Group, whom I investigated with, were clever enough to break out the cards to illicit some activity. I did not join in since it was already 4:30am and I figured a woman wasn’t welcome in a men’s club card game… The guys did get some spikes on the EMF meter. Later on they experienced activity when they finally hit the hay.
Today’s cartoon is based on the paranormal card game. Yes, the guys did deal cards to prospective spirit players. Though I imagine the astrals in question were quite annoyed that someone was peeking at their cards under the pretense of helping them out. (It’s tough to pick up your hand when you have none.)
