Paranormal Humor for the Ghost Hunter's Soul.
Some of you die-hard Entities-R-Us fans will remember every Thursday was Ouija Nite. The ghost hunter boys would gather for an evening of laughs, spirits and demonic tragedy once weekly for your entertainment. It was definitely testimony why one should never fool with a Ouija board.
Ghosts Carl and Thor were spawned by this weekly event. I needed a couple of spirit participants. These two were ready made.They became a life unto themselves. Thor even has a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ghost-Thors-Fan-Page/118540444869978 You should like it!
I like digging through the old ideas. It often leads to new ones. Hopefully, ones that make you roll on the floor belly-laughing like hyenas.

Have you ever wondered how many ghosts you walk through every day? They’re there… There’s too much evidence to controvert it. Spirits can be anywhere. Most of us are completely unaware of the paranormal surrounding us. So, how many ghosts have you walked through today?
I bet they’re pissed! I’d be hard pressed to think they would enjoy the living just barreling through their persons. I can imagine the rants they get on about. To them we are just bungling fools bouncing off paranormal walls and plowing through their world.
But, do they really notice us? Some do… Probably, not all. Those who are aware of us, are the “interactive” ghosts who strive to catch our attention. How many times do they stare us down, block doorways ineffectively, attempt to shove us out of bed while we just snore on. Those few who discover their power might send an unwary sleeper to the floor. Most cannot move a pen.
I feel for those spirits who “suffer” the walk through. But, what they may not realize is they can plod through us too. Sometimes those odd chills may be more than a draft…

Today I gave my “Ghost Voices” talk on EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) for the Grinnell Library Spooky Series. I had a nice intimate crowd, so I was able to discuss one-on-one with each of them. The important thing that came out of this was a room full of people with a compassion for ghosts stuck between our world and that of spirit. This is something I am passionate about, but I did not set out to push the topic. The idea naturally blossomed by virtue of the many EVPs I played.
The spirits spoke to the people, not me. And, that’s just how I like it.
Today’s comic came out of a discussion of spirits being energy. We are energy, but it is locked in a body, so it barely gets out. This is why we can barely affect an electrical device, but an entity can manipulate it easily. Now you know why Thor sticks around.
